Have fun with this recipe. You can get creative with the plate design. Also you can adjust the amounts of the ingredients to align with flavors you want more of less of.
Ingredients
- Fresh burrata cheese (1 ball per person)
- Ripe tomato (vine ripe or beefsteak), sliced (1 slice per burrata)
- Balsamic glaze
- Pesto sauce
- Roasted red peppers, cut into strips
- Kalamata olives
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Arrange a slice of tomato on your plate.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze and the tomato.
- Place a single burrata ball in the center of each tomato.
- Add pesto sauce on the plate in whatever decorative way you would like.
- Add strips of roasted red peppers and Kalamata olives around the burrata.
- Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil over the burrata.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
